Charles Krauthammer is a Duck...

  By Elise Hardin

 11/02/2010

Who is Charles Krauthammer?

Charles Krauthammer is a gas filled freakshow clown who should do the Republican Party a favor and just declare himself to be a weak knee, spaghetti spined Democrat and be done with it. After all, it's not like he's hiding who he is anyway.

Seriously, he writes for The Washington Post! So, what more proof do you need ?

If I hear this Progressive stooge in sheep's clothing ramble on about how the Tea Party is hurting the Republican Party any more I'm going to start vomiting on my new autographed Vampire Diaries t-shirt !  Well, probably NOT that t-shirt, but you get the idea.

Whining about how wonderful poor old RINO, Mike Castle of Delaware, was and how that mean Tea Party witch, Christine O'Donnell,  flew in on her Tea Party broom and beat him out of the Senate seat that was promised to him by the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost... okay, okay, enough already with the establishment GOP sobbing.

Really, what's the point of further watering down the Conservative brand of the GOP by pushing a proven Liberal, who is only a Republican so he can run against the Biden monopoly in Delaware.

How does putting another Liberal in Washington going to help the Conservative movement?

Duh?

It's not about the Conservative movement.

It's not about the Republican Party.

It's not about the will of the people or what's best for America.

It's all about maintaining the status quo of the Belt Way elitist intelligentsia and the paycheck that this status quo ensures.

Oh, yeah, don't forget all those cool Democrat Party fundraising dinners.... yum!

Charles Krauthammer is worse than any announced Progressive or Liberal or Marxist!

Charlie and his irk lie, contort, and prostitute the truth and do everything they can to remove the power of America from the people to a cadre of the ruling elitist elite, who know best how to rule this great nation, or at least think they do.

In the words of that great immortal newsman and Leftist, Dan Rather, if it smells like a duck and it walks like a duck, then it must be a duck...

So if it sounds like a Liberal, betrays Conservative principles like a Liberal and makes compromises with Democrats... then it must be Charles Krauthammer.

' Why is My Frog Smoking....?'

By Elise Hardin

7/29/2010

I'm not sure who originated the fable about the frog slowly boiling in a pot of water. It could have been Mark Twin or perhaps Aristotle or possibly Zac Efron . Well, probably not Zac Efron, but it's possible.

The basis of the Glenn Beck boiling frog experiment goes something like this, if you put a frog into a pot of boiling water,  it try to leap out right away to escape the imminent danger of being cooked alive. But, if you put said frog in a pot that is filled with water that is cool and pleasant,

and then you gradually heat the pot until it starts boiling, the frog will not become aware of the threat until he is being served as an appetizer at the next White House dinner celebrating George Soros.

The frog's survival instincts are wired to detect sudden, drastic changes. This is the reason politicians in general, and Progressives specifically, prefer to slip things under the radar.

This parable is often used to illustrate how people can become complacent to the point of obliviousness in their daily lives. This is also an excellent warning to us about the suffocating stranglehold that unchecked government growth can have on our lives.

The point of this fable is that we must always be alert to the sound of bubbling water and the smell of slowly burning flesh to make sure we aren't the ones soaking in a pot over an open fire.

'When I Was A Child'

By Elise Hardin   June 27, 2010.

www.hardinrepublic.com

When I was a child I would look up in the sky and wave at the passing planes. Thinking that they could see me and wave back.

"Hey, Elise! How are you?" They would say from their airplane window.

Now that I have grown up I know that I was just being silly and acting like a child.

When I was a child I would watch the television and listen to the politicians talk about how they worked for us and wanted to help us and how they cared about our future.

"Hey, Elise! Vote for us and we will represent you!"

Now that I have grown up I know that I was just being silly and acting like a child.

It's fun being a child, but the sad reality is that we live in a world of grownups.

I think I would rather know the truth as a grown up than live in the fantasy world of my childhood back when I was a child.

Ronald Reagan and Freedom in the Arts

January 28, 2010

Ronald Reagan once stated that artists are free to "think the unthinkable and create the audacious; they are free to make both horrendous mistakes and glorious celebrations." Everyone should be allowed to show their art to the public. They should be able to present their work even if it offends.

People should share their art to the public to communicate their stories, beliefs and emotions. Many artists use their art to express their pain, as well as their happiness. Some artists use their emotions to establish a connection to their audience and show people who are going through similar situations that they are not alone.  Art can be used to show what people mean to say such as love and hate. However, many people are offended by this type of work because it might be to dark and not appropriate for the public. Without this type of art, the world would be dull and empty of emotion.

Also, most have used their art to show the things they believe in. Many songs and paintings were made to show people?s opinions on the world such as wars and political events. For example, John Lennon wrote a song about the Vietnam War, 'Imagine', to show how he felt about war. Picasso created a painting called 'Guernica 'about the terror and sufferings he witnessed in the Spanish Civil War.  Some people are offended by this art, because people have many  different views on these types of subjects. This type of art makes the world a more dynamic place and shows the many sides to events.

Ronald Reagan was correct in his conviction that citizens should have the right to express themselves through artistic expression. If it offends anyone, they should just not pay attention to it. All type of art should be shown because people have a freedom of speech.
