I believe that Big Government creates more problems than it solves.
I believe the people should decide most political issues at the state and local levels.
I also believe that the Republican and Democrat parties are evolving or should I say morphing into a giant monolith whose only reason for existence is job security during their elected tenure and riches after they leave office. In point of fact I have become so disillusioned with my own political party over the past several years that it has been a close call as to whether I should just become an Independent Conservative. But I am reminded of the joke , what do you do when you vote independent...? You waste your vote. So, like it or not we have only two viable parties (you Libertarians may disagree) that are in control of the political structure of this country. Since I only have two choices I will stay with the GOP.
I am not alone in feeling isolated and left out and even forced out of a system that is supposed to be representative of the people. Instead the system has become the oppressor of the people who voted it into being. Sounds kinda wacky, eh?

I am foremost an American who has read enough of the history of the founding of this country to know that what is going on in Washington D.C. and across the country is not what George Washington and the gang had in mind. Quite the opposite.
HARDIN REPUBLIC.COM provides a conduit of conservative news stories, articles and other printed information that the liberal media has missed or chosen to ignore. I will present information and news from around the world that you won't be able to see on MSNBC, CNN, CBS, NBS or any of the other "objective" mainstream media outlets.
This website will also have numerous "serious" articles and commentaries from real people who have honest, sincere and passionate causes they want to communicate and share with people. This website will also have numerous articles and observations and commentaries that will be written for the sole purpose of entertaining the reader and if a point or two is made in the process , well then, there you go.
There are enough people out there who can quote all the facts and figures to support whichever side they represent and that's okay, but I communicate (if that's what you want to call it) better through satire or sarcasm. Mind you I do take my politics very seriously, which is why I use humor to communicate my political convictions. It has proven cheaper than the legal fees that I had to pay due to those two nasty assault and battery charges filed by the Mondale campaign... well, never mind. I didn't realize using a 12 volt air horn during a politicians speech was such a big deal. I am sorry for Mr. Mondale's permanent hearing loss, but he's an old liberal anyway, so where's the harm.

So, in an effort to save time, I will repeat the famous words of a San Francisco Republican ( yeah, I find that one a little hard to shallow too) who must remain nameless who took great personal offense at my satire of that great Californian, Nancy Pelosi (yes, again a difficult concept)... "You are a liar. Shame on you. You lie." Hey, that's a direct quote, which gives you an idea of the state of the California school system.
So, there. I have been thoroughly chastised.
